This is a multi part question in regards to the system specs in in my signature and the following:
Amd Athlon II x4 651k 3.0ghz cpu
Gigabyte A55 FM1 socket Mobo
4gb Corsair 1333mhz Ram
Sapphire Radeon 6770 1GB DDR5 400mhz 800 stream processors (i have it OC'd those are stock numbers cant remember my OC clocks)
This system is more of a back-up when I cannot use the one in my signature. But I am just curious which card is a better buy based on the price, the GIGABYTE GV-R787OC-2GD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 at 209.99 or Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 3.0 Graphic Card GV-R785OC-2GD at $179.99 and which build I should place it in?
My sig or the above listed build and suggestions ex. replacing my Gigabyte 6850 with the 7870 and then the 6850 with the 7870 or vice versa with the 7850. And how much of an upgrade is the 7850 over the 6850? I remember the 6770 not being any different than th 5770 except it was cheaper at the time of purchase.
I only have one vice and that is the Sapphire 7870 card although it is cheaper than the gigabyte I have heard of it having alot of issues. Other than that any help is greatly appreciated even an upgraded card if the price is right. I am not looking to spend more than $220 on a gpu.
