help cant access bios after overclocking ram

hi guys as said above i cant enter the bios when i overclocked my ram. wont even connect to the monitor. occasionaly it does. till the point where i can hit the del but it still wont go to the bios. can anyone help me?

Reset your cmos - if you don't have a reset switch/jumper on the m/b, pull the cmos battery for 5 minutes.

thanks! i removed the battery and it worked! thanks for the help! got so nervous cause i just bought my system this week. hahaha thought gonna need to buy a new one cause overclocking voids warranty here!

No problem. As a note, overclocking ram seldom results in noticeable results. Depending on the ram you bought and your m/b, your bios should have native support up to 1600mhz which is really as fast as you need.

its because im using amd's apu so i want my ram as fast as possible. i actually had a big performance boost. in Crysis 2 hardcore graphics and in a 1366x768 resolution. my fps went from 18-21 to 25-27. and in advance mode 30 fps up.

Interesting. But then again working with an apu is entirely different.

Glad it worked out - small steps on the ram - it will be touchy especially the timings.
