I have a i7-3930k with 16GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-17000 RipjawsZ Series memory. The motherboard only recognizes the memory as 1600MHz but when I adjust the slider to 2133MHz and restart the BIOS still says the memory is running at 1600MHz. Do I have to play with the voltage as well to get it to the 2133?

Solution
I'd say the lowest increment you can increase the voltage by, and keep trying. You may also have to raise the IMC voltage, possibly VCCSA. But stick with the DRAM voltage for now.
