I just purchased the following hardware and put it all together but when powered on the processor fan will barely spin for a second and then nothing. The instructions say to press the power button but nothing happens. I've reassembled it twice now, but the same thing. Could it be that I do not have the right power supply? Or could it be that the power supply is broken? How do i test if it is that?

Calm down. Check all of your cables again. Unplug/plug them again carefully.

i tottaly know this feeling, it happend to me to on my first build.
i was very stressed and scared and i didnt know what to do.
the solution is to get all the basic theings processor mobo and cooler and keep adding things til it will not turn on anymore.
with my pc it was 1 stick of ram.
just try that.
and is the switch on the power supply turned on??
