I just recently re-installed riva tuner, and then a message came up saying there was an update available. I went to that update and then it started downloaded something called the ultimate codec package. With that package came a bunch of other software and codecs. Im just concerned that it could've been a virus, Im running avast right now to scan for anything. Also it downloaded DivX setup and it wont let me uninstall it, everytime I try it says DivX has stopped working. If anyone knows what Im dealing with and can shed some light Id appreciate it.
Accidentally downloaded Ultimate Codec Package, is this a virus?

I dont think so, unless it was an advertisement you downloaded from. Just uninstall it 
thanks for the quick reply razer. I did uninstall it, guess I just wanted to ask and play it safe.The DivX software still wont uninstall though.
Download iobit uninstaller and force uninstall, otherwise look for the program files in your C: drive
