Solution
That is exactly what we needed. I cannot find much information about that brand, and even though it appears to have a 24a rail, I am reluctant to trust the specifications on that unit. I did find that unit for about 15 pounds, and that price point leads me to believe that the psu most likely is not well built and probably has an overly generous rating.

IMO, you need to buy a good psu (antec, corsair, xfx, seasonic) in the 500w range. Be prepared to spend $40-50 US for a decent supply.

It will work in your pci e slot, but be sure your psu has enough grunt to handle the card. Check your 12v rail and make sure you have 35a min, preferably 40a. If your psu is split rail, at least 18a on one rail, preferably 20a or more.

Can you write your PSU Wattage, so i can tell you right? In fact, the Core2Duo Processor need at least 250W PSU, so i think you have that wattage or greater. If you have 250W PSU i think it won't handle that video card, but if you have 350 or greater, it will work without problem.

how can i find what psu wattage is

Not so! 650ti boost is miles ahead of the 7750.

OP - yes that is a great price if in fact it is the EVGA 650ti boost superclocked - buy it!

whats the what the difference ? i taught this card is good and its also 30% off until monday

btw i am really confused some people say it will work on my system and some say it wont like markwp..

really confused atm

I did not say it would not work. What I said was I personally question the quality of your psu and that it MAY not be a good long term solution. I personally would NOT use that psu to power the 650ti boost, but that does not mean that psu would not work. I am very cautious regarding psu's - I will spend the extra money to purchase a high quality psu rather than risk problems such as losing my entire system to a failed "budget" psu.

Note that I do not say your psu will not work, only that I would not use it.

if i get the 650ti boost, there will be bigger chance for my PSU to fail because its demand more power ?

the 650ti BOOST is a 125W TDP gpu, under extreme conditions with aggressive overclocks and heavy load it might eat up as much as 175W of power. the rest of your system will chew up 200W max under the most absurd conditions, overclocks and load. That makes a 375W max power draw for your system.

So yes. your 450W psu will run it just fine.
