I'm looking to either upgrade my current (ancient, I might add) PC build to be able to play newer games more smoothly, or switch to a newer socket.
My current specs:
CPU: Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16 Ghz
GPU: GeForce GTX 650
RAM: 3GB DDR2
PSU: Thermaltake 600W
HDD: 250GB
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
I'm running the old 775 socket and if possible, would like to keep my current mobo. However, I'm not totally against upgrading if it's within my price range ($200-300)
I'd like to reuse my graphics card and power supply.
