I was trying to do some overclocking on my EVGA GTX 660. I ran Unigine Heaven 4.0 a few times, then one time it crashed and now even at stock clocks it crashes before the benchmark starts... same with catzilla which was working fine prior to me overclocking.

But i can still game... i can still play crysis 3, battlefield 3, and Guild Wars 2 with no issues

Solution
1. If you OC, and the drivers crash then recover, and games/benchmarks crash until you restart, that's not uncommon at all. Pretty normal, actually.
2. If you restart and they're still crashing at stock clocks, then you have a problem.

Which one is it, Darksider?

were you monitoring your temps and power usage? if so, what were they at?

from what your saying, id say your GPU is fine if it's gaming like it was before. have you tried reinstalling Unigine and catzilla?

Yeah the temps were normal... but re-installing didn't help, but restarting my pc did. It has been doing it for games too... it will crash then it won't start up until i restart my PC.

now it seems like there's a problem, what exactly were your temperatures at? and do you have a screenshot of precision x's or msi afterburner's monitoring page?

Proabably useless advice; but when something similar happened to my buddys computer; he just pulled the battery from the mobo.
Resetting the cmos worked; but upon reboot he had re adjust his cpu multiplier and reconfigure his ram.
Afterwards; problem free.
