Hey guys, just wondering which PSU I should get. My planned rig is as follows:
FX-6350
HD 7870
8GB RAM
7200 RPM HDD
I'm worried if a 500W PSU would be enough for this. I don't intend to overlock in the near future. If so I'm looking at the OCZ Xstream 500W PSU or the Corsair CX500. I don't think I could afford to go for a CX600 though. Any recommendations or alternatives?
Thanks

The CX-500M would be good, but the non-modular CX-500 would not be. Although both are made for Corsair by CWT, only the modular one uses all-Japanese capacitors. The non-modular ones use inferior Samxon capacitors that don't like heat and are known to fail early. I would not use one of those in a gamer.

That was the same one I was going to recommend. I'm using it myself and it works just like it should. Great for the price.
