Help with BF3

Hey guys, I've never played a PC game before, I custom built a Gaming PC on Cyberpower for about 3000$. I know I will max BF3 out 230+ FPS 1080p. But my question is how hard is it to learn the controls for it? How long would it take me? Here's a few specs of mine.

You can just play the Tutorial, it's simple. The controls, you learn them fast, and the ability to play and coordinate between fingers, keyboard, mouse, you'll get it in no time. I've seen people becoming really good players after 2 or 3 days after trying for the first time. My girlfriend with skyrim for example. 3 days and she played like she did that all her life.
