Can't remove metal covers to install graphics card?

Hey guys, first time builder here, I just got all of my parts in the mail and was just just about to install my graphics card when I noticed that the covers don't seem to want to move. The case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811322048) is apparently tool-less installation of things and there are little red braces that swing off of each of the covers to let you remove them but I can't for the life of me figure out how. I don't want to bend anything because I doubt that would end well and was wondering if any of you had dealt with something like this before and had a possible solution? Thank you in advance for any and all help.

According to your link, there are seven break-out expansion slot covers. That means you need to knock out the break-out covers with some hand tools. Place a screwdriver on the cover and strike it. Then you can twist the cover to break it free.

Yeah I unlocked the hinges but I thought the black covers come off as well so the graphics card can fit ? That's the part I'm having trouble with

Just tried it out they don't seem to want to move it's like they're welded into the case and I don't see any screws to take out either. Any other suggestions?

One more edit: I'm a total newbie to PC building so I'm probably just making a dumb mistake and not realizing it, any ideas to something I could have easily overlooked?

So I bend them inwards towards the inside of the case or outwards? (Also thanks I think you're right I had the same idea but didn't want to break anything off in case I was breaking something in the case I wasn't supposed to lol.
