Hi,..

I recently bought this ZOTAC graphics card. My intention was to get myself a dual monitor connection to run my PC.

http://www.zotacusa.com/synergy-geforce-210-zt-20313-10....

I am using a INTEL DG41-WV motherboard with the above specs. The graphics card keeps shutting down the PC automatically. I checked the GPU temp, and it keeps running at around 60C increasing to 80C. Sometimes it does not even get there, and shuts down automatically.

BIOS I used PCI-E as opposed to onboard graphics while booting for memory. I upgraded/downgraded my NVIDIA software both ways using Your Uninstaller to remove any remnants from the PC so as to enable a clean uninstall.

I am using a DDR 3 Ram so that should not be an issue. My Processor is a 775 LGA model - so am not sure if that is an issue.

So wondering how to get about working this setup? Cos my PC runs for days together without any problems minus the graphics card. Running windows 7 32 bit.

Have you plugged up the gpus power? Either a 6pin or a 8pin. It will show up but will never run without those plugged in.

the geforce 210 doesn't have 6pin or 8pin slot because it can run using the bus power of the mobo.

crazyduke, may i ask what power supply are you using? you may have a faulty power supply..

card does not need a power source. Power supply is 450 watts plus,..though locally manufactured one. Graphics card does get detected. I even tried not installing the additional drivers of NVIDIA also.

how old is your psu? do you have a spare psu? try using a spare psu for us to know if the psu is the problem. it can also be the gpu or the ram that is having a problem.. have you already tried memtesting your ram?
