three days now my windows xp computer keeps restarting. the far it can reach is showing me windows XP after DMI check and then reboots itself. what could be the problem?

Your PSU could be bad. Do you have anything you can remove so the only thing hooked up is the motherboard and main OS hard drive?

Restart and tap Function 8 to see the Advanced Boot menu and select "Disable automatic restart on system failure". That will make a blue screen with the Stop Error message show up and you will be able to note the detail and post it back here. We need the numeric 0x0000?? and ANY_WORDS_JOINED_UP_BY underscores.
