I've been playing Guild Wars 2 for a while now, and I'm running on a very basic laptop but because of the massive demand on graphics with all the particle effects and zergs I've been interested in a new computer.
I want something that can handle decent graphics but not lag when I run into 50 enemies that start shooting me.
My price range is no more than 1.5k, it does not have to meet max price, if I can get something good for less I'm fine with that.
Screen size isn't a big deal, but bigger doesn't hurt.
I've been running on a laptop, I'm fine with switching to a PC, I just want what's best.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I mentioned I wouldn't want to spend more than $1,500 unless absolutely necessary, and no I have not built a computer before.

Just curious, why does it need a solid state drive and a hard disk drive?

OP, i would go with this build. It has a next gen cpu, I don't understandd why you would go 3570k over 4670k. Its like picking eating food that is old and not fresh :p Better CPU cooler and one of the best SSD's on the market. I picked that 7970 over the GTX 770 because it saves you 100 DOLLARS, and it gives you the same performance. Also gave you a nice fancy case along with a really nice ASUS monitor. You're gonna need a copy of windows, do you have one? That would add $90 but it's fine since you have a couple hundred dollars to spare for equal or better performance that the one above. If you have any questions i'd be happy to help! :)

Guys..... having a monster machine like that and a 21 inch monitor? thats not a smart idea.
Id rather get a 30 Inch full HD TV (cheap LCD one) for that kinda monster.
Im using a 32 inch tv with a Q6600 / 560 Ti and 4gb DDR2; and its still good enought to run most things.

Also i would never recommend western digital or seagate as HDDs. They are known to be the least reliable HDDs out there (well, seagate is far worse than western digital, but why choose a bad hdd anyway?).
Id recommend Samsung as HDDS, maybe even SSD.

The rest looks quite fine. (build from dawgg).
