Catalyst Control Center won't open

So, I just got my HD 7950 and it was not detected by my computer so I tried to get CCC and get all drivers. However: "There are currently no settings that can be configured using Catalyst Control Center." This showed up and I can't open CCC. I have .NET 4.0 and 4.5 and I tried installing the beta and the suite version. Also I tried using driver sweepers but nothing seems to work. Is this a problem with the GPU?

check if you installed your GPU correctly and try to use amd clean up utility, before installing amd driver for your GPU.

One of the wires wern't plugged in correctly, thanks a lot

i have the same problem but i have a laptop with a 7730m 2gb in it, i get the same error message when trying to open CCC, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Please help, getting really annoyed :(
