i wonder if my Corsair TX-750 is enough.
i am in the process of a gradual systems upgrade, a couple of months ago i bought an HD7990 and i want to buy an FX-8350 CPU, but it uses 125W compared to th 95W of my current FX-4100 CPU.
since the minimum reccomended PSU to the HD7990 is 750w and the FX-8350 CPU uses more than average watts i wonder if i will have problems with my current PSU.

Thanks in advance.

The MAX load that can be pulled by a 7990 is 380w. You will be perfectly fine. You can overclock if you want. No problem.

You definitely should buy an fx-8350 because that 4100 is bottlenecking your GPU quite a bit.

Be sure that your motherboard supports 125w CPUs. Some do not.

i am painfully aware of the bottlenecking, i had a Radeon HD6950 before the HD7990, and when i got the new card it was only a marginal increase in performance.

and i would count the crosshair V formula as 125W capable!

that doesen't really answer my question since i doesn't have the devil 13 or the 7970X2. i have the AMD official 7990, it uses less power than the devil 13 or the 7970X2.
