Hi all.
I have a lot of problems getting my new 3G modem working on my new TP-Link router.
The modem is a Huawei HiLink E3256 and the router is a TP-Link TL-MR3420.
The company is danish Oister and they are using 3's net.
We have plenty of signal and our mobile, who are also Oister works fine.
The router keeps trying to indentify the modem, and sometimes it works but only for a limited
time :-(
I have tested the 3G modem over night with the same USB extension cable in a labtop and there where no dropouts
or disconnections at all, so I suspect the router.

Does anyone have any advise what to do ?
Shall I get another router or modem ?

Regards
Christian

Hi Christian - I'm Danish too.
I use TL MR3420 with Huawei E3256.
No problems such.
Downloads mostly 14 mbps in a distance off app. 700 meter to 3G.
Use short ( < 1.5 meter heawy duty) USB wire - best face to face with 3G.
I'm use it in a mobile home some times, and have a reach of more than 11 kilometers at 3 mbps.
Take care of humidity.
Eller vil du hellere ha' det på dansk :)
