Do C drives need a driver installed?

My C drive has occasional little glitches, but diskchecks turn it up fine. I never installed a driver for it, though, because I thought I didn't need to. Do I need to install a driver for it?

Installing your MB drivers should take care of it. Windows does have basic drivers for most all HDDs so that you can install windows to begin with. Like zink1701 said, how does it glitch?
