I have tried all kinds of drivers for this mobo, but nothing is working at all - both rear and front jacks. Windows is recognizing that I'm plugging in the rear or front, but there is no sound coming out at all. Nothing is muted, default speakers are selected correctly (clicked "Test" but cannot hear it). Is it the motherboard (but the jacks are kind of working?) or am I still doing something wrong? I've also reinstalled and tried other Win 7 version. Sound works if I plug in USB headset (I guess it has a sound card). Also - microphone is not working, but is recognized.

System:
Intel Core i5 3330 @ 3.00Ghz
MSI GTX 560 Ti Hawk
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
8GB RAM

I have a issue with my mic. I have tried everything: tried different drivers, different plug-ins and two different mics but still it does not work.
When I put mic volumes and boost to maximum I can hear some "bzzzz" voice but nothing else. So problem is probably motherboard?

Just happened to my board too. I accidentally installed the GeForce HS audio over top the Realtek drivers and now I can't get sound. Uninstalled / reinstalled just about every driver version and nothing. I'm guessing its hardware. I'm going to call ASUS Friday and see if they can figure it out. If not I'll be ordering a PCI card.

This suddenly just happened to my Mobo, it was working before, then I transferred my table and sound doesn't come out anymore, even the mic isn't recognized, then a notification always pops up "you have unplugged an audio device" then after a few seconds "you have plugged an audio device" and i also hear buzz noise when I turn up the volume, is there a solution for this now?
