Can someone help me find the Intel Adapters I'm looking for?

When I try to install my ethernet adapter, I get the error message - Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are available in this computer. Can someone help me find them?

Is this a new build? Prebuilt?
What motherboard is it?
Or are you installing some new part?

It's a brand new build, and the first I've ever built.

Are you using the driver that came on the CD included with the mobo?

No. The only thing I found with "ethernet" on it was RealTek Ethernet DIagnostic Utility, which dosen't make the internet work. I downloaded one from a website by putting in my motherboard serial number

The best place to get the actual driver is from Asus.

I just looked (or tried to), and the Asus website would not go to the relevant driver download page.
It should be here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z77V_LX/#support_Download
But nothing actually happens...
