Hi guys. I am trying to buy a relatively high end pc but I have a budget of about £800 ($1250) and I am unsure about which processor to buy. I am torn between the amd fx 8350 and the intel i5 4670. On the PC I have decided to run a amd 7950 ( but possibly the nvidea gtx 760, so I don't know which processor would go best with it. if you have any knowledge to help me then please share it. Thanks

If your video editing, rendering and stuff like that, the FX 8350 would be the way to go. On the other hand, if you're gaming, which is what I assume your doing, the i5 would perform better do to the higher per core performance.
Yes this computer is going to mostly going to be used in gaming and no video editing or rendering. As there is only £20 between the processors I need to know which is better with a 7950 for gaming. Unfortunately I only save £18 pounds if i get the fx 8320 so it isn't worth going for a cheaper version. Thank you for everything and I will give it some thought but if anybody has any additional info that will tip the balance then please share it
I agree with "m1n3kraft". The i5-3570k can be up to 30% faster than the FX 8350 on some games, and runs almost 90w cooler under load. And the i5-4670 is roughly 5-10% faster on top of the i5-3570...
