So I installed a new mother board today, and everything works well. If I plug the VGA cable in directly into the mobo I can do everything just right. But, when I go to install my graphics card, I get weird lines across my screen, then the computer goes to boot up then stops and crashes. I have tried the graphics card out on another computer and can tell that it is not the graphics card that is the problem.

My specs:
Motherboard: A55 PRO3
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 550 ti
PSU: Thermaltake TR2-600W
CPU: AMD A8-3870K
Case: Thermaltake Armor A60 AMD
HD: Seagate Barracuda Green ST1500DL003 1.5TB

Also I am running Windows 8.1 Preview. At the moment I just want to get my graphics card to work and get back to gaming. Right now I believe that it is the drivers. Only problem is I can't install drivers for NVIDIA unless I have the graphics card installed, which doesn't allow me to boot. Any help would be great.

Yes, it even shows the boot up process. I have once gotten to the log in screen, where I was able to actually use the computer, although the lines that were all around my screen were difficult to see around, the weird thing is, that my cursor want affected by them and nor was the text that I typed.
