So I'm buying a computer from Ibuypower and I'm trying to decide what video card set up I should get. I could 3 way sli some 760's, 2 way sli superclocked 760s, pay a little less and get 1 770, or pay a little more and get a 780. I feel like saving a hundred bucks and getting the sli seems like a good idea but I'm not sure. What do you think?

In that case, definitely the single 770. As Kelthar said, upgrade-ability will be better in the future and the increased VRAM will be heaven-sent with some next gen titles.

Off topic, I cant believe theyre selling 2 SC 760's for more than 3 stock 760s. Crazy:pfff:

Not sure what the prices are...but I would recommend the 2x GTX 760. Tri-SLI can often come with diminished returns AND it makes upgrading in the future more cost restrictive (gotta sell 3 cards).

PS: I wouldnt go for the SC editions unless the cost is nominal...you can always OC them yourself

I would've personally gotten either the GTX 770 or 780 and later on, when you felt it wasn't performing as good as it should, pop in a 2nd one to SLI. Will have better performance in the long-term and less initial costs.

The cost runs like this from cheapest to most expensive:
1. 770 4gb
2. 3 760's 2gb
3. 2 superclocked 760's 2gb
4. 1 780 3gb

The 770 4gb is 90 less then options 2 and 3 and the 780 is over 100 more then options 2 and 3.

I would go for the 1x 770 and upgrade later when you feel your graphics should be better.

I own a 760 and there's nothing I can't run on 1080p at maximum (haven't tested Crysis 3 yet, but I've tested BF3 and getting over 50 FPS, usually 60-65).
