Whenever I plug a headset or headphones into the front audio jack of my computer I can hear a slight static/crackling sound. Then, when I do something that takes a lot of gpu power, I can hear the coil whine through my headphones! How do I fix this? It's so annoying.

This isn't my computer, but the whining sound in my headphones sounds almost exactly like this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mMm26F6t3I (skip to 0:14)

By the way, I don't really care if my gpu whines. I just don't want it coming through my headphones!

Sounds like the front panel audio wire is picking up interference. See if you can rearrange/move the audio wire that connects to the motherboard's audio pins and see if the noise goes away.

Okay, thanks. I'll defiantly try that. I'll inform you later if it works or not.
