Please no fanboy comments. I would just simply like input on a gaming build. I would like to be able to play the newest games on the highest settings and the older games with texture mods.(ie Skyrim and Fallout NV) I will be OC'ing both GPU's and CPU. I am just tired of going back and forth on this build (Borderline obsessing) I keep getting mixed answers across the board on everything from Intel Vs AMD to NVDIA vs Radeon. The display will be a 50'' 1080p LED TV. My budget is around 1300. This is my first build so its already overwhelming. Please help.
Here is the build as it sits now:

CPU: AMD FX-8120 3.1GHz

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master HyperNewegg 212 EVO

Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Storage: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card (2-Way SLI)

Case: Corsair Carbide Series 300R Windowed

Power Supply: Corsair HX850

Solution

What? First of all, my 8320 idles at 28 degrees with the stock cooler and clock. With the 212 EVO and a bump to 4.2 GHz, it runs about the same.

To the OP: Looks good, but I'd rec the Sammy 840 Evo or the Sandisk Ultra for the SSD. Also, get the 83xx series of processors instead. Finally, nice PSU, but 750w would also work.

Not really. At most, 5 degrees C. At the least, it'll be equal. Then again, it's quiet, but it comes with the risk of leaking.
