Hi all,

I have a Corsair HX 650 psu and currently have one GTX760. Currently both pci power outputs are being used by it. It has 2 power outputs labeled PCI-E and 4 power outputs labeled SATA/PERIPHERAL.

In the future (hypothetically and lets ignore the fact that I may not have the power to run this setup), if I choose to run a GTX 760 SLI, I will not have any PCI power output to power it up. Is it ok to use the power outputs labeled as SATA/PERIPHERAL to power the 2nd graphics card? Or will that cause damage?

Thanks in advance for your advice

I don't know of any way of using the SATA connectors to power a GPU, but you should be able to use Molex (peripheral) connectors with adapters to run the second card. It will take 4 of them total, but you have 8, so it shouldn't be a big deal.
