Upgrading Ram for future

hello, i was wondering what kind of ram i should get since there are lots of factors. my mobo is a foxconn2ab1 (upgrading fairly soon). it has 4 slots. currently it is "6.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 667MHz (9-9-9-24)". so i should i replace the older sticks or add a new one to the last slot?

With AMD (not sure of your CPU, not listed) I'd go to a 2x4GB set - would move it to 8GB and will see an addtional increase in only using 2 sticks vs 4, AMD has weak MCs that are optimized for 2 stick use vs 4
