Looking to upgrade my old pc with 500$ budget

I'm a gamer


Current Build:
Intel i3 550 2cores 3.2ghz
GTS 450
ASUS P7H55-LX mobo
4gigs of RAM


My budget is 500$
I want to get a new
Graphics card
processor
mobo
ram
and an SSD for my OS


The processor I decided to get is the AMD FX-6350 I have an aftermarker CPU cooler and I have no idea what mobo to get I don't plan on doing any SLI, and I have a decent big case

and I perfer NVIDIA than a Radeon

Good choice for the CPU. For the motherboard, i'd get a gigabyte 990fx ud3. it's not too expensive and is good for overclocking. for ram i'd get 8gb of any good ram company, gpu i'd get a gtx 660 or adm 7950. The 7950 is a great card for the price, but you don't like adm so i dont know. and for ssd just get any good brand. i think that's more towards $600 than $500, but you'll have a great rig

hm that motherboard seems good but it has 4 slots for graphics cards and Im not looking to get more than 1 card

Not all of the slots are for graphics cards. If you're going to overclock (which I recommend) that's the only motherboard I'd recommend that gets you close to your budget

aaah, good, this build I have suggested should in theory work, the motherboard iteself is an ATX form-factor.
