Could someone post a link for a decent 8 pin cpu power extension cable?

I wanted one that would extend my too-short stock cable enough so I could rout it behind the motherboard with the rest of my cables. However, it was unable to fit into my 8 pin connector slot (I checked the end of the cable, it definitely looked different than the stock cable that did fit.)

Therefore, does someone have an example of one that they know works well? Preferably from amazon if you can, but if needed it could be from other places

front end of the extension cable plugs into the motherboard while the back end has the cable that is plugged into the psu attached to it, correct?

main reason that im asking is that i bought one a while back, but it never fit in my board. I checked the end of the cable against the one that came with my psu (which did fit) and it looked different (not quite sure how this is explained, i just think of it as different arrangement of "circle" and "square" shaped pin holes). At the moment I decided to just put it in front of the board, but since im getting a graphics card now i would rather not have that area be so crowded. I just wanted to make sure that this next one does indeed fit, (or that I had tried to put it in right in the first place, i could see that being the issue and i just was wrong that last time) The one I bought was a white modright cable from microcenter.
