Pc fails to keep internet connection

My internet connection works fine, but after working on the internet for a while, my pc just don't receive the internet anymore.
The other computers still have internet (Wi-Fi), but I need to restart my pc to get internet again....

I haven't got a system here at the moment running AVG but if the firewall isn't configurable to allow traffic both ways in certain circumstances, it's as well to turn it off and enable Windows own firewall. At least make sure AVG is allowing all outbound.

If this happens when you leave the PC for a while, check in the Properties of your wireless adapter in Control Panel>Device Manager and go to the Power Management tab. Remove the tick from "Allow the computer to turn this device off to save power", click Apply and OK your way out.

Thank you! I did check the settings, but they are set optimal and fine. The problem actually occurs when I'm busy workng on the internet. I assume the data volume gets too big ? However, it never restores - only when I restart the pc.

Didn't work. The problem is not with the router or internet. The other pc's and laptops works fine.... For some reason this pc works fine and then suddenly just don't receive the internet data anymore ...or perhaps it is blocking it ?
