Can i connect a normal case fan to a cpu_fan header

I have a corsair SP120 air series fan which i just bought but i have no free fan headers left on the MB. So, is it possible to connect it to the cpu fan header.

note: my cpu is liquid cooled

Yes, it is possible, not sure about any problems you may run into. I know that connector is specifically monitored as it is normally the lifeline for the CPU. But as long as everything stays cool, I do not believe you should have a problem. The voltages should be the same as the connectors are the same. I know the CompUSA around me sells 3-pin to molex adapters if you run into any problems(Doubtful that you will). You should be able to get them online for $0.99
