Hello i was wondering if i could get some help on upgrading my pc.

Basically, with the new consoles coming out, it means new games, new games= i need to upgrade my PC.

I have asked in the past and someone suggested my GPU to be upgraded to a 7750(pretty good call), but now i want to do a few upgrades. If it's viable to upgrade my current rig....

My pc is the HP p6320, according to the manufacturers guide my motherboard is a MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E). It says i can upgrade my processor to the following:

Intel Core i7-8xx (Lynnfield core)
Intel Core i5-7xx (Lynnfield core)
Intel Core i5-6xx (Clarkdale core)
Intel Core i3-5xx (Clarkdale core)

Would any of these processors be decent for gaming? Also what price am I looking at?

Now the GPU, As much as i love how much bang i got for my bucks, the 7750 will not run games that will be releasing later this year. I'm looking for a Graphics card that will run things like battlefield 4 and Assassins Creed IV black flag. What card am i looking at?

Now with that in mind, what PSU will i need? i have seen that multiple PSU descriptions show different types with different pins.

Ram is fine as i've already got 8gb and that's all i need right now.

Also i'd like to transfer this motherboard to a new Case, what will i need? The motherboard itself is a micro-ATX

Any help would be appreciated, if my motherboard is no good then please suggest something. If i were to give a budget, it would probably be around the £700 mark, most of the money being spent on Graphics card and Processor.

Many thanks.

The fractal is a very good PSU and a good deal to boot. It'll run your rig just fine,A more powerful one too with two cards in crossfire if you ever need that.(Of course don't wait until the 7950 is discontinued ,lol) It's also pretty shallow,so you won't have problems fitting it in cases over several builds.

The lynnfield i7 would be your best upgrade path, however, you can't buy those anymore and the people who have them sell them for a premium on ebay. So that isn't a viable option. I woould suggest stripping your current PC for as much as you can carry over and building from scratch. Now to play assassins creed you won't need much, and battlefield 4 is looking to be only slightly more intensive than BF3,so for 700 quid...

This should serve well, and is under budget, not sure if your current pc has ddr3 ram,you might need to buy that, but the storage and dvd drive can be gotten fron the old rig and you should be good.

All seem pretty good to be honest. My ram is indeed DDR3.

The only thing on this list that I'm a bit sceptical about is the PSU. I've had a fractal Design case in the past, but never had the PSU. Are they any good? I usually go with coolermaster or Corsair. I'm not Good at picking parts, just putting them together and the psu's usually recommended are coolermaster or corsair.

Sorry to reply after the answer was picked. I've been researching the Graphics card, now i've seen mixed reviews about the powercolour cards. I have used sapphire in the past so would the Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-X- 3 GB GDDR5 be any good with this mobo and cpu combination?
