Well i have a long story of issues with my new built PC. FIrst of all the specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 4GHz
GPU: SAPPHIRE RADEON HD 7870 GHZ EDITION DUAL-X COOLING
MOBO: MSI 990FXA-GD65
RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWSX 8GB dual channel 1600MHz
CPU COOLER: stock
PSU: Thermaltake Smart SE 630W (non-modular)
OS: Windows 8 64bit

I built it in June myself.
i got Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon with it as well as Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider.

first i downloaded Far cry and finished it without any errors.

then i downloaded bioshock and finished it without any errors.

it was all OK till Splinter cell blacklist got released.

i bought the game on Uplay and started playing it. first it didn't even open, Ubisoft's fault, and i fixed it. then i started playing it was laggy at first and so on, but then it was fine and i enjoyed it for a little while.

then ubisoft released a patch 1.01 and i installed it (1.7GB!) the game began problems here !
The game froze and crashed with black screen that i couldn't get rid of unless i turn off the pc manually. then this black screen started to come even when I'm on facebook or casually browsing the web. it appeared with boxes sometime white boxes or colours ones and the screen was frozen before the black screen appeared.

so i decided to update my drivers. the black screen disappeared. but it froze every game froze, even bioshock (steam) and crashed.
amd released new drivers and i updated again.
but the game randomly freezes and crashed with DX11 error same for Bioshock.
so i got an idea: i play in windowed mode.

when the game freezes in windowed mode this message appears: "Display Driver stopped responding and has recovered" then the game crashes or still freezes. can anyone help me ?

I'm hopeless its my first PC and my first time PC gaming, i was a ps3 player forever. just to let you know the temperature for GPU is fine never 60C or higher.

I tried following things:
Underclock GPU
Overclock GPU
Play on lower resolution
Play with PC case open and AC next to it so airflow is better and everything is cool

its not about temp. in your case.. it might be that your OS is getting corrupted.. try and install a fresh copy of windows....it should just go fine..
