I have E2200 processor. I watched in youtube and it can play battlefield 3, need for speed most wanted 2013, GTA 4 and even modern games (but not all) not even the latest. But at least it can play games this days. Now, the real deal, I will buy a quad core i7 laptop so i can play the latest games like battlefield 4 (huh?) Now my problem is if i will use my laptop, will my desktop will looks like a trash because i will not use it like before because it cannot play latest games with that thing. i don't want to ignore it because it has still some value these days. I want to use it as substitute so my laptop will not abuse in playing for many hours. Do you have an idea so i can still use my desktop even though i have a high end laptop? Any answers will appreciate

Please be careful with gaming laptops, they overheat especially when put under heavy stress (such as gaming). I suggest you get a cooling pad for your laptop.

Now, for your computer, there's not much use for it. You can attempt to sell it to a friend if you'll be relying entirely on your laptop, or just as you said, use it as a secondary platform so that your laptop doesn't get all the strain.
