Based on these 2 cards, In theory could I expect an FPS increase from the 6670 compared to the 210? Currently playing Final Fantasy: ARR and I'm enjoying a grand 7fps consistently on lowest settings. I do not mind low settings at all so keep that in mind I plan to run in low settings regardless.
Please do not respond with an arrogant "what a s#@t card why would anyone buy one?"
I am well aware they are both sub par cards but given the incredibly outdated machine I am working with until the first of the year I have to get something better than the 210 which was intended to be only a temporary fix and keep the cost to a minimum.
Current Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
With that in mind my original stock card was an ATI Radeon 4670 and it played the original Final Fantasy just fine as well as WoW, Eve Online and so on with little to no issue.
Any suggestions (Nvidia cards as well) would be greatly appreciated. I'm not expecting to run at a consistent 40-60fps I just need a decent boost to last a few months.
