looking for £400-£500 pc build for gaming and animating(Maya)

I know this isn't a lot of money but I'm just looking for the best pc I can get with this budget. I use autodesk maya a lot for my uni work and i would like decent render times if possible. I also play games like world of warcraft and borderlands.

any help is appreciated

More about 400 500 build gaming animating maya
  1. I'll build something with part picker one sec
  2. Part picker wasn't working for me but since you're using autodesk maya i'd say an i5 4760k cpu for sure, at least 8gb of good ram, and a fast hard drive like a wd caviar black and a quadro k2000 graphics card if you can afford it

  4. I don't need an OS and i can probably re use my dvd drive from my current pc. if that creates any more room in the budget for some better parts?
