I have recently built a gaming PC. After putting all the parts together, and connecting the PSU to the mobo and other parts it won't turn on. I have been looking around the web and inside to figure out whats wrong, and we found on the PSU, a red switch that to my knowledge probably tells the voltage (its currently at 115, and when we flip it it changes to 230). Do we have to change that to power all the parts and mobo? Do i also have to run a test before plugging everything in and attempting to start it up? Also, the monitor won't display anything. Keep in mind that i am quite the beginner and if anyone could take the time to help me, I'd spare me the headache.

You know whats funny? Moments after i read this all i did was switch the plugs to a different outlit and BAM! The PC started working to my sheer amazement! All of the parts are functioning normally and are 100% stable. I guess i don't need help anymore but ill post when i do. I do appreciate your help though...
