I have two theoretical PC builds. One has a 750k and the other an FX 6300. My issue is that my budget is only $600. Is it worth the extra $40 for performance? I plan on playing Minecraft, BF4, COD Ghosts, and Watchdogs.

If you have any other part suggestions, criticism, or snide remarks, try to be nice.

I know. I was giving AM3 as a completely unrelated example. When was the last time AMD has released any new AM3 processors? The same will happen with FM2+ and FM2. It's just an example.
