Hi, i am looking to assemble a list of parts for a desktop to help me through college and life for the next 3 years. this will be my first build and i would like it to be "enough" for the next 3 years.
Approximate Purchase Date: Between now and the start of next semester (Monday Jan 6th) Hopefully some parts go on sale during BlackFriday / Boxing Day
Budget Range: $900 CAD Before Rebates & After Shipping (i currently allocating the funds)
System Usage from Most to Least Important: College (ending April 2016) Autodesk 3ds Max will be taught next 5 semesters. Some gaming (lets be real, I'm in college)
Are you buying a monitor: No
Do you need to buy OS: No i have a usable key.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Canadian sites & shipping
Location: Southern Ontario, Canada
Parts Preferences: I would like an Intel CPU and i have been a loyal user of Asus Motherboards.
Overclocking: Maybe (i am hoping to buy a new desktop after i finish college)
SLI or Crossfire: No.
Additional Comments: I guess i should list some games i play Dota2, League of Legends, Tera and some Farcry 3 and Borderlands 2.
