Hey. i have an AMD athlon x4 760k OCED to 4.5ghz. i have several programs that i could use to tell temperatures, but which one do i trust. easy tune 6 which comes with my motherboard says 56 at full load and i have it set up to throttle at 70 degrees in the bios. HW monitor only shows me a package temperature of 93 degrees, core temp tell me i idle at what easytune6 tells me is full load and speedfan agrees with easytune6. so which one is right? or are they all wrong :/

Solution
All of them are right. It depends on censors of MB, every temps reading software depends on that, some softwares could pick the censors right and some are not.

I trust SpeedFan, so if its saying 56C at load then it is perfect. And the temps are fine at load nothing to worry about.

The PSU's comes with the case is generally not strong/powerful enough to withstand an OC. It will eventually fail, and the worst case scenario it will take other components with it, be careful. So it will be good for you to have a rated PSU. Without knowing your system specs I can suggest you this PSU.
