Hey guys I wanted to know if it was possible to have game audio come from both my headset and my speakers. I have family members that want to listen to me as I play but I also want the audio to come through my headset to immerse myself in the game. Is this possible? Do I need a soundcard? a special cable?

Solution
With both devices on the splitter, they both get the same audio signal.

You don't need a splitter if you configure it in your realtek hd audio manager. In the top right is a folder icon you can click, select disable front panel jack detection. And now it will output the same to both your front and rear ports.

Well see, I use the PX22 from turtle beach because of its microphone, and in order to use it you have to plug it into the computer through both USB and audio jack. So if I used a splitter I would still have the USB from the headset running into the computer. Would this still allow audio to come from the speakers and the headset?
