Share your personal experiences with these sights. Which one should I go with for buying my new build? And if I buy all my parts from newegg, do I have to buy the extended warranty "protect your investment" thing on every single part? Or is there already a warranty when purchasing these parts default

Solution
Quick answer about warranties. Every part you buy will come with a "manufacture' warranty." The length of the warranty will vary by manufacture and product. On the Newegg site, bring up the products page (for instance: go to Mother Boards>AMD>AM3+>and click on, say, the Sabertooth - that brings up its page). On the product page click on the tab 'Details'. Scroll to the bottom and it tells you the length of time for the manufacture warranty AND how long Newegg will give you to return it to them for refund or replacement.
Extended warranties (there are pros and cons) cost extra, vary in price by product and length, and must be purchased for individual parts.

I'm glad you experienced good service with them. Makes me feel reassured, but can you explain how warranty stuff works ? Do I gotta pay extra?

Do you know how it works on newegg?

Never bought on Newegg. That's the place that people recommended me at first, and then, I filled up my shipping cart and went to checkout... and the shipping costs were just too high. So I decided to rather buy from NCIX, and I got the things for much cheaper than if I bought everything on Newegg, mainly because of their price match feature that I talked about above.

I bought all my pc parts from ncix canada. Use their price match feature and just do all your business with them. Everything was shipped fast and their customer support is great.

As far as I know, Neweggs extended warranty lets you ship the product directly to them and the ship the new one to you. There RMA dept. has been very helpful and competent.
If your forum handle is any indication of where you live (West Coast), Newegg is pretty fast. My last order was on a Sunday evening and I had my stuff by noon Tuesday: I am waaayyyy North of the L.A. area where they are based; I was impressed!
