I've just recently OCed my i5 2500k on the 7th from 3.3 to 3.9GHz. It ran fine all day and just this morning decided to boot halfway and shut down 3 times and finally boot successfully. It told me there was a problem with booting (obviously) with cmos settings? because of overclocking settings. I couldn't read it fast enough before i pressed enter.
My mobo is a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3, and i have 16GB of DDR3 ram.
Would appreciate any answers
Thanks

I have not updated BIOS. I also forgot to mention in the post that i only changed the multiplier from x33 to x39. I did not change any voltage. I'm not sure if BIOS is the problem or the voltage?
