I have been seeing a problem with this router, where the Wifi will go form being stable and constant to resetting every 10 seconds. The wireless networking G and N seem unaffected. My iPhone will continuously go from wifi to 3g and back in a continuous cycle. Only cure seems to be to power off the WNDR3700 and power it back on, where the problem will be absent for hours if not a day or two. It does some time seem that the interval between proper and bad behavior is getting shorter. According to my router I have the latest firmware. I haven't been able to tag down any cause as of yet; seems to be random.

Today I've seen two occurrences of the problem; when I woke up this morning the problem was present, and just now when I checked my phone. Going from wifi to 3G and back all the time puts a big strain on my iphone's battery.

Bump; still dealing with this one. I posted on the Netgear forum, nothing but "duh" things to try. WiFi at work doesn't have the problem, but my iPhone when at home will still randomly switch from WiFi to 3G to WiFi. Only temp solution still is to restart the router; sooner than later the issue will return.

I have a similar story. Over the past six months I have gone from a router with no drop outs to one which drops out very few days and getting more frequent.I have been through all the obvious steps in error checking, including replacement of my NETGEAR DGND3700v2 Router which connects my desktop in a back office but the problem continues. This is starting to look like a software problem, I can't find any comments from Netgear. Do they exist?
