I am building a new PC this week and I am just curious if anyone can tell me whether or not this power supply is compatible with a 4770K? I read that because of the low power states of the Haswell chips when idle not all power supplies are compatible. Any help would be appreciated and thank you! Also, I plan on overclocking both the 4770K and my graphics card so will turning off any low power states in BIOS make this a non issue?

According to this article that power supply is not compatible with the 4th Gen Intel's. However, this one is modular, 80+ Gold, similar in price and is compatible. Hope this helps!

The compatibility does not matter unless u really want to use the new sleep state. I heard if ur psu cant do the sleep state it will just go to the next sleep state that it can do. And yes that psu is fine

Even tho the one u linked is fine the one zero cool posted should def be better, as its 80+gold, modular and has a higher wattage
