I think I've read TOO much at this point, and it's all running together :(

I'm building a system this week to replace a 27" iMac. I'm spoiled to my monitor. I love it. But I know I'll not get the same thing with a PC monitor without paying with a kidney.

I'm looking for a 23-24 inch monitor for gaming and some light photo and video editing. I'd like as high a resolution as I can get without losing that kidney. I like my kidneys.

My desk's monitor shelf is higher than is comfortable for me, so the ability to tilt it facing down a bit is mandatory. I've run across a couple that aren't adjustable at all. Lower power usage is marginally important. I don't know if LED monitors are any good though, but they have supposedly better power consumption? I'd like any suggestions I can get. I'm overstimulated at the moment. Oh, and keeping it as low under the $200 mark as possible would be awesome.

For one the more expensive ones inside your budget, this would be pretty solid:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/lg-monitor-24ea53vp

Has IPS tech for the editing, has Full HD and a reasonable response time for gaming.
It's also pretty much 24". If you want bigger resolutions and IPS too, it's going to cost way over
budget.

This one is cheaper, but quite a bit smaller. It has the same qualities as the previous screen though:

Here's another pretty similar one:

If you play a lot of really fast-paced games, then the very low response time on this will be good:

If any of those look...

If any of those look interesting, we can then see about the height adjust.

It's just good to know how flexible you are on your wishes.
