So I am sitting here learning about networking, Unix/Linux, cluster computing, and the CCNA.

This is the router I have...

If you check out the hardware specs its not too impressive, at least next to some of the server boards I've been looking at which support 4 cpu's not to mention a terabyte or memory and up to 24 hdd's, and the cherry on top would be if the cpu's where AMD's 5ghz 8 core beasts, that would total 20 ghz and 32 cores on one board, Geekzuse!

So as I smoked two to get here I started wondering, "Can I have this little, router join into a cluster perhaps with slightly modified firmware?"

Why would I do that? I haven't figure that out exactly yet.

Has it been done or thought of before?
