Hi, Asus Eee pc 1005 here just gone off with some important work on it. It was upgraded to windows 7 and the poor thing struggled, and has just blown up, literally flashed and turned of and smoke came out. I had just ordered a faster processor and bigger ram for it but oh well.... Anyway i know for a fact that it has a 160gb hard drive (well 144gb if you want to get technical) which i just salvaged from it, i placed in casing (caddy, enclosure whatever you want to call it) and im only getting the C drive files come up (it was partitioned when i installed 7, so 72gb to c drive and 72 to d) D has the important files on, I cant access it. Why? The case is a cheap one that needs 2 usb sockets to run but it works fine for all other hdds i have? It has had a 300gb and a 640 working just fine, and it even used an adapter to fit one of the old (really old) ipod hard drives on it. Help please
