My desktop icons disappered and can't open start menu.

My desktop icons have disappeared. I cant use my laptop. When I switch it on nothing happens. Just a blank screen. The right click options also don't work. There isn't the menu bar either. PLEASE HELP

Try Control-Alt-del and see if task manager comes up - if so try new task and type explorer - may well be malware- if explorer bring things back run MalWareBytes - if no joy with that try booting in safe mode
