For the past few days, my pc has been getting random black screens. It usually happens during the graphics un-intensive part such as loading screen for a game. Another example is the windows 8 booting screen with the spinning balls. The black screens goes away once the system is booted and it asks for the log in password. I've updated the windows, graphics drivers and tried connecting to the monitor with other cables. What could be going on here? Could it be a hardware problem with the graphics card?
